La Patrona Festival (26 July to 2 August)

Pollença’s ‘Semana Grande’ (Big Week) is one of Mallorca’s most iconic summer festivals, held in honour of the town’s patron saint. It kicks off on 26 July with the traditional firing of the cannon (cannonades) and the ringing of church bells. Over the following days, the town comes alive with cultural activities, live music and family-friendly events. Sant Pere (Saint Peter, 29 June)

Port d’Alcúdia’s Sant Pere festivities pay tribute to the town’s seafaring roots. The celebration features maritime processions, open-air concerts, street parties (verbenas) and dazzling fireworks. The harbour becomes a hive of activity, with traditional food stalls and entertainment for all the family.

Sant Jaume, patron saint of Alcúdia (25 July)

The festival held in honour of Sant Jaume is the biggest summer celebration in Alcúdia. Spanning several days, the programme includes concerts, children’s shows, sports events, exhibitions and a vibrant verbena (street party with traditional dancing and food). On the main day, 25 July, there’s a solemn mass followed by a grand religious procession. As night falls, fireworks light up the sky above the town’s medieval walls.
